ADVENTURE WALKTHROUGH

Part 1 Coins, Gold Nugget, Jewelry, and Silver When the game opens you are outside a small brick Building. Go Inside and Get the Keys and the Lamp, and note that there is Food and Water here. Go outside the building. There is nothing else to find on the surface, so go South, through the valley and past the slit in the stream bed to the Grate. Unlock the Grate, and go Down into the Small Chamber Crawl West through the Cobble Crawl (AKA Low Passage) and get the Wicker Cage. Continue West into the Debris Room. It is pitch dark by now, so turn on the Lamp. Note the magic word, XYZZY. Leave the Black Rod here for the moment. Continue West through the awkward sloping E/W canyon to the splendid Bird Chamber. Get the Bird, which will put itself into the Cage. Continue West to the top of a Small Pit, and go Down its stairs to the Hall of Mists. Go South to the Low Room and get the Large Nugget of Gold. Go North back to the Hall of Mists. Go Down to the Hall of the Mountain King. Drop the Bird which will drive away the Green Snake. Drop the Cage. Go South to the South Side Chamber, get the Jewelry, and go back North. Go West to the West Side Chamber, get the Coins and go back East into the Hall of the Mountain King. Go North to the Low N/S Passage and get the Silver. Go North to the Y2 Room. Say Plugh to go back to the Building. Turn the Lamp Off to save the batteries. Drop the Coins, Gold, Jewelry, and Silver. Part 2 Golden Chain, Pearl, Spices, and Trident. While in the Building get the Food and the Water Bottle. Say 'Plugh' to go to the Y2 Room. Lamp On. Go South into the Low N/S Passage and Down into the Dirty Broken Passage. Go West to the Dusty Rocks Room, Down to the Complex Junction and West into the Bed Quilt. Go South repeatedly, which will take you to either the Slab Room or the western end of the the Two Pit Room. If you are in the Slab Room go South into the western end of the Two Pit Room. Go Down to the Plant. Pour Water, and the Plant will demand more. Go Up out of the pit, West into the Slab Room, Up into the Secret N/S Canyon, North to the Mirror Canyon, and North to the Reservoir. Get Water. Go back South through the Mirror Canyon and the Secret N/S Canyon and Down into the Slab Room. Go South and Down into the Pit and Pour Water on the Plant. It will turn into a Beanstalk. Do not climb the Plant just yet. Go Up and East, then Down into the eastern Pit and get the Oil. Go Up, West, and Down to get to the Plant. Climb the Plant to get to the Long Narrow Corridor. Go North into the Giant Room and get the Golden Eggs. Note the Magic Words scrawled on the wall. Go North again and pour Oil on the Iron Door. Drop the Bottle. Go North again into the Waterfall Cavern and get the Trident. Go West to the Steep Incline and Down to the Large Low Room. Go SW to the Sloping Corridor and Up to the S/W side of the Chasm. The Troll will appear to bar your way. Throw the Golden Eggs and he will scurry away, taking them with him. Cross the bridge, then go NE and then East to the Fork in the path. Go NE and E through the Warm Walls Junction to the Chamber of Boulders and get the Spices. Go West and South to the Fork, then SE, Down, and East to the Bear Cave. Feed the Bear. Unlock the Golden Chain. Get the Chain and the Bear. Drop the Keys. Go West, Up, and North to the Fork. Go West and West again to the Chasm. Attempt to Cross, and the Troll will reappear. Free the Bear to frighten him away, and Cross the Bridge. Go SW to the Sloping Corridor then Down to the Large Low Room. Go SE through the Oriental Room (leave the Vase there for the moment) and SE to the Swiss Cheese Room and then NE to the Bedquilt , and then go East to the Complex Junction. Go North to the Shell Room and Open the Clam. The Pearl will roll downhill, so go Down and Down again, and Get the Pearl. Go Up and Up again to the Shell Room, then South to the Complex Junction, Up to the Dusty Rocks Room, East to the Dirty Broken Passage, and Up to the Low N/S Passage and North to the Y2 Room. Say Plugh to return to the Building, turn the Lamp off, and Drop the Golden Chain, Pearl, Spices, and Trident. Part 3 Emerald, Golden Eggs, Pyramid, and Vase. Say Plugh to get to the Y2 Room. Lamp On. Go South the Low N/S Passage, and Down to the Dirty Broken Passage. Go West to the Dusty Rocks Room, Down to the Complex Junction and West to the Bed Quilt, and then go West to the Swiss Cheese Room. Go NW repeatedly to get to the Oriental Room. Leave the Vase there for the time being, and go North and then West to the Alcove. Drop the Lamp and the Axe, and go East into the Plover Room. Get the Emerald, but leave the Dark Room alone for now. Go West back into the Alcove, and get the Lamp and the Axe. Go NW and then South back into the Oriental Room, and get the Vase. Go SE into the Swiss Cheese Room, and East into the Soft Room. Get the Pillow. Go back West into the Swiss Cheese Room and West again into the eastern end of the Two Pit Room. Go West and Down, and Climb the Plant to the Long Narrow Corridor. Go West to the empty Giant Room. Say the Magic Words Fee Fie Foe Foo to make the Golden Eggs appear, and Get them. Go South back down the Long Narrow Corridor and Down the Plant. Go Up and West into the Slab Room, then Up into the Secret N/S Canyon. Go South into the Dragon Room and Kill the Green Dragon with your bare hands. Get the Persian Rug. Go East into the Secret Canyon, then East again into the Hall of the Mountain King. Go North into the Low N/S Passage and North again into the Y2 Room Say Plover to be transported, complete with Lamp, into the Plover Room. Go NE to the Dark Room. Get the Platinum Pyramid. Go South into the Plover Room, and say Plover to go back to the Y2 Room. Say Plugh to go back to the Building. Lamp Off. Drop the Pillow and then the Vase. Drop the Persian Rug, Emerald, and Golden Eggs. Part 4 Diamonds, Pirate's Chest, etc The Pirate has probably appeared by now, and stolen all the Treasures you had at the time. If he has stolen the Golden Eggs or the Trident, or has stolen more than five treasures it is probably best to quit and start over, since there is very little chance that you will be able to retrieve them before the Lamp 's batteries run out. Say XYZZY to go back to the Debris Room. Lamp On. Get the Rod. Keep going West until the Small Pit, then go Down to the stairs to the Hall of Mists. Go West to a Fissure. It is too wide to jump, so wave the Rod. A Crystal Bridge appears. Go across the Bridge and get the Diamonds. Go West and then South into the Little Passage which leads into the Maze of Twisty Little Passages, All Alike. Go East, South, South, South, North, East, North, East, and NW to the Dead End. Get the Pirate 's Chest and the Treasures he has stolen. Go SE, North, and Down into the Bird Chamber, then East through the Sloping Canyon to the Debris Room. Say XYZZY to return to the Building. Lamp Off. Drop the Chest, the Diamonds and the recovered Treasures, and the Rod. Part 5 Finale Say Plugh to get to the Y2 Room. Lamp On. Go South to the Low N/S Passage and Down into the Dirty Broken Passage. Go West into the Dusty Rocks Room, Down into the Complex Junction then East into the Anteroom. Get the Magazine. Go East into the Witt's End room, and Drop the Magazine. Go North as many times as necessary to get back to the Anteroom. Sometime during this stage a voice should say that the cave is about to close. Wander round the cave until the voice says that the cave is closed. I do not know what triggers these events, and would appreciate Feedback. After you are transported into the Immense Room Go SW and get a Rod. Go NE and Drop the Rod, then Go SW out of range, and say Blast. This will blow a hole in the wall of the cave, and you will be greeted by Elves at the end of the game.
